A security consultant for a private intelligence firm goes undercover to infiltrate an anarchist eco-terrorist group that targets corporate polluters. But she soon discovers things are not as simple as they seem, as she finds herself drawn to the group’s charismatic leader and starts to sympathize with their ideas. Brit Marling, Alexander Skarsgård, Ellen Page and Patricia Clarkson star in this “great conspiracy thriller” (New York Daily News). I just noticed that some elements of your film's trailers (glitching and etc.) were kind-of silently referenced in Cartoon Network's The Amazing World of Gumball: The Virus which aired a week after the film was out, and in The Internet (a Gumball episode) which aired two months after the Blu-ray release. If Warner and Fox agreed to put those episodes plus Adventure Time: A Glitch is a Glitch (and more) along with The East on a Collector's Blu-ray/DVD set, I would want that! Would they do it?

Could it just be a coincidence? The glitch effect is rather common. I doubt they would as those shows are worlds apart, but then again, this is only a fan blog, so I can’t give you a real answer. (:
